By focusing on a bigger picture we allow ourselves to serve a higher purpose. Every purpose in life is in some way to serve one another. By serving that purpose of helping and being of service you unlock a path. A journey filled with beauty and understanding in life. Differences in morals and beliefs make it hard for people to see eye to eye. But fill your heart with love anyway. Its the love and compassion you encompass in your heart that keeps you grounded.

When you dance in the light of life and simply exist as love you will attract love and light to your own life. Be aware of the distractions around you. Dedicate yourself to guiding the people and situations around you to a peaceful more positive space. Do the same for yourself. You create your own reality and have the ability to choose your perspective. The people you choose to have around you are a reflection of your inner self. Don’t stand for less then what you are working towards.

Change seems like such an uplifting word filled with possibility. We’ve thrown the word of change around so much that it seems to be something that just happens at the snap of a finger. But positive change doesn’t happen unless you take the initiative to make it. Change means every person working towards a similar goal. 

President Obama is the face of change. Electing him into office brought a sense of relief to everyone in the world that change is on its way. In an interview in France a reporter said to me that the people in France never thought that our country, America, would ever have a black President. But with the election of Obama they have a new view on life that anything is possible. The underlying truth is that he is the face of inspired change. Obama is the a way of the Universe inspiring us to put change into effect all around the world. 

To me, change means a life filled with peace and harmony amongst us all. Existing with love for each other and respect for our resources. Our planet is changing more and more everyday. You can see it and feel it. Reporters give us the news and Al Gore has given us his documentary. We watch and listen with our own perspectives and feelings on the issues. Most of us leave feeling irritated at what has become of our planet. But excited with power to take steps in the right direction.  Then the realization sets in that we can’t make change happen alone. The responsibility it would take for a world of self realization to be discovered seems impossible. Even for me the possibility of the world coming together to put change into effect seems far-fetched at times. 

But look around, people everywhere are coming to a higher awareness. The world is transitioning and so are we. We can help each other find common ground in change by working together. This doesn’t mean as a team in one room. It means in the comfort of our own homes and lives. Take a step back from your small reality you’ve created in your everyday life and see the bigger picture. Its a choice each one of us has to live with. A moral issue within us all that brings about a sense of self discovery. What do we as individuals believe in. Are we lazy and filled with doubt. Or are we strong and leaders in our own world. Through the rise and fall of our economy I believe soon all classes of people will be one. Can you handle it?
